Head of Corporate Strategy, PMO & Sustainability
Position Summary
This role leads the development and effective execution of corporate strategy, project portfolio management and sustainability initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives & group-regional-company direction.
Main Responsibilities
Corporate Strategy Role:
- Lead the development and refinement of the company’s corporate strategic initiatives.
- Organize the annual and regular strategy development workshops and assist in formulating the annual business plan;
- Prepare contents and organize regular strategic forums including regular EMT Meetings and other related management forums;
- Assist in identifying strategic opportunities, growth drivers, and business problems;
- Collect market intelligence research, competitive analysis, industry benchmarking and produce regular in-depth market intelligence updates;
- Develop & manage strategic information resources (internal strategic materials, external research, reports, market information/statistics, etc.) for reference by EMT and prepare executive-level strategic reporting & dashboards.
Project Management Office (PMO) Role:
- Manage strategic projects portfolio in the Company;
- Control the project management process, budgets, framework, communication activities;
- Work closely with project managers to complete all project milestones by agreed deadline;
- Present project progress to PSC (Project Steering Committee) and make escalations (if any) to push projects to move forward.
Sustainability Role:
- Support the design and implementation of sustainability strategies and programs;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability into business practices;
- Support documentation, collaborations & presentations as well as correspondence with Regional Team on Sustainability reporting.
Qualification and Experience Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a business-related field.
- At least 5-7 years of working experience, in which 3-5 years as a similar role, covering management reporting or financial planning & analysis functions.
- Good strategic thinking skills – ability to see the big picture and connect the dots;
- Analytical skills – ability to work with numbers effectively, analyse and make sound judgements.
- Strong writing, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Good general knowledge in financial services industry.
- Communicate effectively with different stakeholders, especially with EMT, in both English and Vietnamese.
- A good planner and a detail-oriented individual with an energetic and proactive attitude.
