Job Scope / Position Summary

• Purpose of this role: The IT Quality Control supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all software products meet company standards for quality and reliability also comply with IT policy and guideline regarding software development processes.

• Non-financial KPIs for this role: complete assigned task on time, within budget and achieve target.
• Description of key challenge of this role:
  • Strong understanding of secure software development life cycles (SSDLC).
  • Experience in quality control for application development.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to review and validate test plans, test cases.
• The nature of communication between this role and these parties: end user is all users of departments in GVL VN and internal IT team including System development team, Infra team and BA.

Main Responsibilities

• Review software requirements and technical designs with BA and Dev to ensure they are complete, accurate, and testable.
• Review test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software products make sure it is proper addressing all requirements from business spec.
• Perform and monitor the result of functional, regression, and performance testing of software products conducted by BA.
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts.
• Work closely with BA and Developers to ensure defects is identified and resolved.
• Track and report on testing progress, including defect metrics.
• Participate in the release process, including validation of release packages.
• Participate in the secure software development life cycle (SSDLC) process.
• Work with project teams to ensure quality control standards are being followed.

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Computer, Computer Engineering or IT related fields
• 2+ years of experience in IT quality control, with a focus on software development.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile and SSDLC Waterfall.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good in IT quality control focus on IT technical solution and software testing process
• Good interpersonal skill;
• Good at English communication (both verbal and writing) skills;
• Able to work under high pressure;
• Able to work independently and good working relationship with other departments.
